Flow Immersion: Asana, Energetics & Creative Teaching is a 30-hour, in-person continuing education training for yoga teachers who want to deepen their relationship with movement, teaching, and embodied flow. Over an immersive Friday–Monday weekend in Bozeman, we’ll explore asana, energetics, creative class building, and movement beyond the mat—learning not just how to sequence, but how to listen, feel, and respond through the body. This training blends structured learning with spacious exploration, offering time to move, create, practice, and reflect together in community.

You’ll leave with new sequences, transitions, and variations you can use immediately, a clearer understanding of how energy moves through class, and a renewed sense of confidence and inspiration in your teaching.

Topics Covered

Energetics & Embodied Flow

Explore how energy moves through the body, the nervous system, and a class experience. We’ll work with grounding, expansion, rhythm, effort and ease, and how pacing and transitions shape how students feel—not just what they do. This is about creating classes that feel cohesive, regulating, and deeply embodied.

Creative Class Building

Learn how to design classes that feel intentional, fluid, and expressive without overcomplicating the process. We’ll build sequences together using a clear structure, explore transitions and variations, and practice creating flows that feel good in the body and make sense from beginning to end.

Teaching as an Art

Teaching is a creative act. This topic focuses on presence, intuition, and finding your voice as a teacher. We’ll explore how to hold space, weave theme into movement, and teach in a way that feels honest, grounded, and sustainable—without comparison or performance.

Movement Methods & Exploration

Step beyond habitual patterns and explore new ways of moving. Through playful, creative, and exploratory movement, we’ll expand how the body can transition, express, and respond. These methods support creativity, mobility, and confidence—and bring freshness back into your teaching and personal practice.

We’ll help connect participants who would like to arrange shared accommodations with others in the group. A discounted room block will also be available at a local hotel for those who prefer to stay there. Once you’ve reserved your spot, you’ll receive an email with additional details and options for lodging.

This immersion will be held at Your Yoga Studio in downtown Bozeman, Montana.

If you choose to stay near downtown, you won’t need a car—there are walking trails nearby and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops to explore within easy reach.
