“Since this training, I feel like I carry myself differently. I have found my voice, my confidence. I feel grounded and calm and actually have started to love the person I am, the person I was and the person I am becoming. I feel excited for the future, rather than hopeless. I have never felt that way, I have always disliked who I was and it has always felt distracting and debilitating. I want to put in the hard work and I feel motivated and energized enough to help others, as well.

I can listen to people, and actually understand what they are saying rather than feel distracted by my negative thoughts. I feel less angry at the world. I try to understand why I am getting angry or impatient before I lash out. I feel like I understand my ego a little bit better, and rather than being proud about how far I have come, or what I have accomplished or comparing myself to other people, I ask more questions. I speak up. I tell people what I am feeling. I tell people what I have been through and why I am the person I am. I love to try and understand even more about how other people's minds work and why they act the way they do, whether it is good action, or bad.”

“This training has opened my eyes to so many aspects of what yoga is. I didn’t expect to find so much spiritual and emotional growth with this class but it was presented with such an approachable attitude that I couldn’t help joining in. It also deeply changed my sense of community and sharing. I admit to feeling like an outsider to yoga when I started and had feelings of insecurity that I might not fit in. That changes dramatically and now feel that I can and should teach yoga to help those around me. I also really changed my perspective on anatomical concepts presented and my own practice has benighted greatly from that shift.”
